“A person’s a person, no matter how small.” –Dr. Seuss

Peter Anzalone, Executive Director for Early Childhood Education at Lutheran Social Services of New York, went to the Early LIFE Center in Harlem on 147th Street, to read to the kids. “It’s good to step away from the computer and remember why I am working so hard for Early LIFE,” he said. The children were prepared for his arrival and welcomed him with a warm, excited, “Good morning Mr. Peter!” when he walked in. He got down on the floor and played with them before reading the Dr. Seuss stories during circle time. “These children are special, and they are getting a great experience at our centers, thanks to Avonne, the director, and her staff,” Peter says. Come, join our Early LIFE family today. Click here for more information on our open houses and here for a list of locations.

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
–Dr. Seuss
