Director (FCC network)
The Director (Family Child Care (FCC) Network) builds and supervises the FCC network, which includes Family/Group Family Day Care providers, Home Visitors, Education Coordinator, and Enrollment Specialists. The Director oversees the enrollment of providers and clients, administers the CACFP process, creates and directs FCC Provider Professional Development and Parent Workshops, participates in community resources referrals to the families, and acts as a community liaison for the Early LIFE program. The Director collaborates with LSSNY leadership, the ACS leadership staff, the Head Start Policy Council, and DOHMH to ensure a continuum of care and better childcare outcomes for children; recruits and trains staff; ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations; advances high performing Family Child Care for children; supervises current budget-related planning; directs transition strategies with agency community partners, referrals and transferences; establishes relationships with community groups, government agencies, and families; oversees family planning, Creative Curricula, and Ages and Stages Developmental Screening for children in care; creates new curricula for licensed professional training and parent classes; and supports all audits and monitoring reviews.

Head Teacher – Early LIFE Center
The Head Teacher is responsible for the academic, instructional, remedial, behavioral and adaptive needs of all their children in an assigned age level classroom, as part of LSSNY’s early childhood program. The teacher must have strong management skills and techniques that can foster the pre-school classroom instructional process and will supervise the Assistant Teachers and Volunteers working in the classroom. The teacher must have a functional understanding and ability to meet all reporting mandates as determined by various governmental agencies. The teacher must work cooperatively with fellow staff, parents, guardians, outside agencies and the funders to better serve our children.
